Editor: right-click to deselect, cursor-anchored zoom & global template auto-refresh

Several improvements to the design editor:

Quickly deselect with right-click

Right-click — or a two-finger tap — anywhere on the canvas to instantly clear your selection, including when you click on a template or a selected layer. No need to hunt for an empty spot. Right-click and drag still pans the canvas, just like before.

Zoom where your cursor is

Pinch-to-zoom (and Ctrl/⌘ + scroll) now zooms toward your pointer instead of the centre of the canvas, so you stay focused on the area you're working on.

Turn template auto-refresh on or off

The Templates tab now has a single Auto-refresh switch that applies to all your templates. Turn it off and templates won't rebuild every time you tweak settings or move a layer — refresh them yourself with the refresh button whenever you're ready. Your choice is remembered in your browser, so it sticks after a page refresh. Leave it on for the usual automatic behaviour.

Smaller fixes

  • Long template and layer names now shorten with “…” so the row's action buttons always stay on screen.
  • Renaming a layer in the list works smoothly — spaces now type correctly, and the new name shows right away.
  • Typing a column heading in the table “Edit columns” dialog no longer loses focus after each keystroke.
